Macquarie Anglican Grammar School

Macquarie students recently had the pleasure of welcoming Rick Engles to our school.

Rick is a para-athlete with a condition called spina bifida. He has played multiple sports at a national level and encourages participation in wheelchair sports.

He led our two PASS classes through a road safety presentation and then introduced the students to wheelchair basketball. 

"The aim of his visit was to educate us on the possibilities of ending up in a wheelchair and the ways in which we can still engage in sport if this does happen to us."
