Welcome to Macquarie Anglican Grammar School

From our Principal...

A very warm welcome to our school, a community dedicated to nurturing excellence and helping students thrive in all aspects of their lives.

Set in the heart of Dubbo's Central West, Macquarie Anglican Grammar School is a unique vibrant learning community defined by its high-expectations learning culture. We cater to students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12, with a Boarding option available for senior students. Since its establishment in 2001, Macquarie has been offering a distinctive Christ-centred education that serves Dubbo and the greater Central West.

At Macquarie Anglican Grammar School, our Christian values are the cornerstone of our educational approach. Our Wellbeing program is designed to recognise and nurture each unique student, supporting their social, emotional, and spiritual growth. A Macquarie education is more than just academics. It is about developing the whole child through our innovative Building Learning Power program, strong Christian values, and rich Co-curricular offerings.

Our comprehensive approach to education ensures that students are well-prepared for a successful future. Our motto, Faith in Action, embodies our mission to cultivate resilient young people with a heart for service and empower them to impact the world positively.

To learn more about how a Macquarie Anglican Grammar School education can benefit your child, please contact our School Registrar at enrolment@mags.nsw.edu.au for more information or to arrange a tour.

I look forward to welcoming you to our community.

Our goal is to shape our students to graduate as young men and women willing and able to contribute meaningfully to their local community and the world at large. Our students are encouraged to develop great character becoming independent thinkers who have great strength of mind. They display honour and care by their behaviour and attitude towards others. Macquarie students move forward and take action, owning their learning, being bold and active in their lives.
