This term, Stage 5 Agriculture explored poultry production, diving into breeds, nutrition, reproduction, enterprise types, marketing and welfare.
Thanks to donations from Misty Downs Poultry and Nel’s Girls Pekin, students gained hands-on experience incubating Australorp eggs and caring for Pekin chicks. These practical activities, including weighing and graphing chick growth, brought theoretical learning to life.
