In Term 1 Kindergarten Music lessons our students have been moving and responding to music using 'dancing scarves' with their dedicated Music teacher.

These scarves focus attention on what is happening in the music and allow everyone to understand the different sounds that can be heard. Students have also been learning about keeping a steady beat and using a variety of percussion instruments to help maintain the beat. Boomwhackers are tubes of different sizes that when struck on the hand or leg make a pitched sound. Students can work together as a group to play a song.
