Macquarie Anglican Grammar School

Our Year 7 cohort had a wonderful learning experience at the Warrumbungles.

Our students formed two groups and spent a day each learning about landscapes and landforms and observing the natural beauty of the area.

Each group hiked to the top of Macha Tor which took approximately four hours and included stops at different sites along the path to complete fieldwork. At these sites, students studied the landform, slope, aspect, vegetation, temperature, wind speed, soil moisture and ground cover.
