At Macquarie, we have four key words that form the centre of what we are trying to achieve. These words are Faith, Community, Character and Excellence.

This week’s House Assembly was run by Dunlop. Dunlop is named after Sir Edward “Weary” Dunlop. Sir Edward is an outstanding example of the concept of community. During World War II, he was in charge of the No.1 Allied General Hospital in Java when Java fell. He became a prisoner of war.

The excursion aims to give them practical experiences to support their understanding of the following content areas of their HSC course; Core 2: Factors Affecting Performance and Option: Improving Performance.

Macquarie seeking volunteers for Multicultural Day

Macquarie staff are excited to be holding our inaugural Multicultural Day on Friday 1 December! We are looking forward to celebrating the cultural diversity of our school community through a number of cultural activities.

We would welcome our multicultural families to assist with running activities e.g. cooking classes, cultural dancing or music, craft activities, story telling, cultural sporting activities and other activities.
