On Sunday 12 March, Year 3 student Flynn Whittle represented the Western Area Swimming (WAS) Association at the Speedo Sprint Series Finals at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.

Flynn achieved some amazing results in an extremely competitive field. There were more than 30 competitors over 4 heats, with competitors mainly from metro Sydney clubs.

Flynn achieved top 10 grand finalist ribbons for all his events and set 4 new Personal Best times for himself. Flynn smashed his previous PB time for Breaststroke to gain a silver medal on the day. Other results included 4th in Backstroke, 7th in Freestyle and 9th in Butterfly where he took 6 seconds off his previous PB time.

Well done Flynn.
