Macquarie student introduces recycling

Macquarie student introduces recycling

By Admin on 10 November 2017

Macquarie has commenced a recycling trial with JR Richards & Sons. It includes mixed recycling with a focus on plastic and paper.

This year, each student in Stage 3 Peach created their own Dent Projects, a project of their choosing that made a "dent" in the world.

Sarah-Joy chose to explore the idea of introducing recycling to Macquarie.

"I've been working on this for the past couple of terms and the staff, especially Terri from JR Richards & Sons, have been incredibly helpful," said Sarah-Joy.

November 13-17 is National Recycling Week and here at Macquarie we are challenging the staff and students to think about how we dispose of waste.
